magens again

I convinced my Mom to go walking with me on Magens Bay this afternoon. It has been a beautiful day, and I figured the mosquitoes (whose population has skyrocketed with the rain we've been having) wouldn't be too bad if we kept moving. My mother loves walking, but it is easy to get out of the habit when you are as busy as she has been, so I'm glad we made the time. And I get to spend quality time with Mom.

Here is the river that only appears when it has been raining heavily. Right after Trevor proposed to me we built a dam there.

We walked the whole length of the beach, but this is my favorite part because it is still untouched. I always imagine this is what Magens Bay looked like when the Taino roamed the island.
